Lou Manfredini - "Mr. Fix-It" on WGN Radio

For a few months this winter, WGN's "Mr. Fix-It" is going to become "Mr. Dance Moves" as he joins our Dancing With Chicago Celebrities family and the fight against breast cancer.  Lou Manfredini is host of the widely popular "Mr. Fix-It" call-in show heard on Saturday mornings from 7 - 10 AM's on WGN Radio on 720 AM throughout the Chicagoland areas.  Lou also hosts and co-produces a nationally syndicated television and radio show called HouseSmarts.

He's dancing with us this year because his favorite thing to do is dance with his wife and he hopes to bring the joy he feels from that to the competition.  He's looking forward to learning some new moves.

Lou is also a frequent contributor to television and print media. He is the home improvement contributor for NBC's Today Show and is a contributor on WGN-TV's Morning News in Chicago.  As if he had nothing else to do he has also authored five successful home improvement books.  He represents Ace Hardware and Marvin Windows and Doors nationally and in Chicagoland he proudly represents Baxter Credit Union, Chevrolet and Permaseal. And if that's not enough, he also runs two hardware stores with his wife and wonderful staff in Chicago and Villa Park so he can stay up to date on the home build industry's latest trends and technology.

As father to four children and husband to wife, Mary Beth, Lou will have lots of support on March 13th as he gears up to dance on March 13th.
